Peaceful Gatherings/ Corning, NY

Peaceful Gatherings informs high school and college students about the many alternatives to enlisting in the military, including alternative National Service, college scholarship opportunities and regional private and public sector employment options and services.

Peaceful Gatherings has set up information tables at East High in Corning, NY, West High in Painted Post, and at Corning Community College.

We need additional volunteers to counter the high-pressure sales pitch of military recruiters in our high schools. We want our young men and women to make important decisions about the future with informed minds.
