The National Network Opposing the Militarization of Youth (NNOMY)

To this I would add a fourth modality: militarized citizenship. Like neoliberalism, militarized citizenship is a multi-scalar process. It is manifested in supranational arenas as in the case of global militarism. In paradoxical fashion, militarized imperialism operates in simultaneity with isolationism, with a closing of national borders, and a withdrawal from multilateral initiatives. Such trends are quite obvious in the recent policies of the American state, where a global militarization exists side-by-side with a pronational “homeland” ideology.
