Yo Soy El Army: U.S. Military Targets Latinos With Extensive Recruitment Campaign

In addition to the racial profiling encouraged by Arizonas controversial anti-immigrant law, the Hispanic community in this country is the target of a different kind of profiling as well: the militarys targeting of Latino recruits. Demilitarization guide for students. Issues that are covered include articles on military recruiting in high schools, universities of mass destruction, how to struggle against militarism, organizing tools and success stories.  This collaborative project was made possible by generous grants from the Sunshine Project, the Ben & Jerry’s Foundation and the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation, as well as the “advertisers” that appear in the guide.
