The message is not “don’t enlist” but rather to provide young people and their families a more complete picture of the life-altering consequences of joining the military – especially in wartime. EDUCATORSFORPEACE.INFO | The Educators for Peace website is the place where teachers find resources for teaching the realities of war and the prospects for peace in school!
NNOMY.ORG | NNOMY (National Network Opposing the Militarization of Youth) is a national networking body that brings together national, regional and local organizations to oppose the growing intrusion of the military in young people's lives. In order to build upon the collaborative efforts to produce a national counter-recruitment organizing effort, resources like our national website support this work.

PEACEFULCAREERS.ORG | The Peaceful Career Alternatives website has been developed with the support of multiple national, regional, and local peace and religious organizations to provide young people deciding how to begin their productive working lives with alternative ideas and options without entering military service.
SAVECIVILIANEDUCATION.ORG | is a national call to save civilian education. Over the last several decades, the Pentagon,conservative forces, and corporations have been systematically working to expand their presence in the K-12 learning environment and in public universities.
